This cargo basket is perfect for my Honda Element! It's a great size, lightweight but heavy duty, and it makes my car look even sexier than it did before!

Great cheaper alternative to the Rola vortex however it's a bit shorter in lenght than the Rola. Good quality so far and you can't go wrong with the price. Looks good on my Grand Cherokee(WJ). If you can't get the U-bolts tight enough on your roof rails all you need to do is trim some of the rubber sheathing off of the bolts and they'll tighten down farther.

This is a roof rack. It works well as a roof rack and was easy to assemble. It looks similar to a Yakima rack but doesn't cost anywhere near as much. I adapted mine to carry bikes and gear as well by using some u-bolts to attach 3/4" square stock towards the front and bolted on some Delta fork mounts. Works great!

Don't let the price fool you, this basket is very good quality! The assembly went well for me though I did have one screw that didn't line up perfect that was a little hard to get in but no problems otherwise. It is lightweight so it was easy to load up and mount on the factory crossbars of my Blazer. One concern I had was if it would hurt my gas mileage but my initial calculations show it took less than 1MPG off of my average. I will note that those calculations thus far have been either the basket mounted without anything in it or I had things up there that didn't not go past the height of the basket. If I was to have a cooler up there and other larger items then I'm sure there would be a more significant drop but it is good to know I can leave it mounted 24/7 without it hurting my MPG. I'll be sure to update this spring when I start putting more things in it for camping season and such.I would like to see an extension become available for it that would lengthen the basket. I have seen other baskets that have that option available so maybe Highland will do the same at some point.Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a basket. The price is right and it is surprisingly high quality so you can't go wrong.

the basket arrived promptly. we were unable to complete the construction of the basket as one of the plastic twist-ons had no brass center to fit the bolt that attached it to the car. also the basket did not fit on our 2012 subaru due to the slanted roof bars on the car. we had to return the basket. it was a very sturdy unit and worth the money if it been complete.

I am very happy with this rack. I kind of expected it to be chinsy because of the low price but it is rock solid has my jack and spare tire mounted to it with zero issues.

I really like this basket but I felt the need to drill through every screw hole and replace the flimsy screws with stainless steel through bolts. Not difficult to do if you're handy and I feel it made all the screw connection much more sturdy. Haven't traveled with it yet but feel there will be know issues. I did purchase additional stainless steel bolts as backup to the plastic hand tightened knobs for additional piece of mind but that's just me being me.

I bought this rack for my 2012 Jeep Liberty, I thought at the price it would have been flimsy, but it’s NOT, it’s a great basket and the perfect size. I loaded it down for a weeklong trip to the Sierra’s and it held up quite well. I will probably leave it on the Jeep as it looks stylish and adds to the appearance of my Jeep, it was a GREAT choice
