I dont' feel we needed to spend threr times as much on a basket that will be used once for 5 minutes. These flower basket definitely fits the bill. I recommend it.

I ordered 2 of these for my wedding for my flower girls. They are poorly made. One actually came to me with the handle half off. The picture makes them look so cute, and they would be if the quality/attachment of the handle was better. Unfortunately it is not worth returning them due to the cost, so I will be using a glue gun to make them work. I am disappointed in this purchase, and wish there had been feedback regarding the poor quality when I decided to purchase them.

Theses baskets are adorable. They are very clean and classic looking. Not overly decorated and have a polished look. You could add colored ribbon or bows to coordinate with your wedding colors, but they look great without any extras.

This is perfect for the hands of 2-3 year old flower girl. It will hold 200 rose petals easily. The pearl handles and body of the basket are beautifully made. It looks so much more expensive than it costs. Adding a pretty bow to match the wedding colors will make it stand out even more. I would highly recommend this product.

I got this as a Christmas present for my Aunt who loves both dried fruit and nuts. I actually had to supplement this gift with something else because the tray size was so small. I was really disappointed. The quality was great, but the price for the size was not.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!Wow... talk about SMALL!! this is in a 9" x 9" box sub divided by four smaller containers. Very small portions for the large price! I can get my fruit and nuts in states other than Cali. if this is what everything costs. Save your money, go to your grocery and make your own fruit/nut tray. You'll get 3 x's the amount and will look much better.

I'm sure that the fruit and nuts are just fine. But, if for example, you want to buy fruit and nuts that were grown in the Golden State instead of just packed there, you should know that on the label on the back it says that it's from Argentina, another country I've forgotten, and the USA. No mention of California at all.

Over 50 and Lovin' It

Since I gave this as a gift I haven't tried the food. However I was a bit disappointed in the way it looked. In the picture everything has been loosened up and primped so it presents well and seems more than it is, but it doesn't appear as nice 'in person' with it all squished in and flattened out. Had I seen this before buying I would have gone with one slightly larger.

Not what they used to be! Beware!

Back in 2009 I bought a set of these baskets and they were beautiful. I bought another set a few years later and they weren't as nice but still okay. The set I just bought are AWFUL. They are inferior in every way. The materials are cheap: the reeds are thinner and fuzzy, and not as long so the weave patter itself is different. There is some warping in the shape of the baskets. The ends of the reeds just poke into the interior of the baskets. There is already breakage of reeds in the sides, so there are small holes. The color is uneven, and the beautiful shine of the first set I bought has become a mangy matte. In short, these are NOT the same baskets in the picture and should not be offered as the same product, certainly not at this price.

These baskets are very sturdy and hold everything that I needed them for, but they are not espresso colored. They are pretty close to what the picture shows and in my mind that is not dark/deep enough to be considered espresso. Other than that these are a good perchase. Although if I was to change anything about them is to line the bottom with felt so that when they slide in and out of the shelves they are in they don't scrape along so bad. They are pretty rough, and will dammage a fine finished shelf.

Rec'd quickly, packaged well.HOWEVER, quality was NOT what was listed, shown or expected. Should have been much better. Wire frames seem sturdy tho. Color is a strange reddish-orangish-brownish shade, not the warm "espresso" brown in the pictures. Weird but ok for our uses. Good thing we weren't trying to match anything.In the pictures they also look nicely and neatly finished/varnished/lacquered or something BUT they either are NOT finished at all or the finish is so light/cheap(!!) you can't tell. They look cheap, forlorn and dull.Because of that lack of a good finish, if you will have ppl pulling them out and moving them around a lot, I would recommend going with a better product, or finishing them again yourself.I ordered two sets for shelves in our hallway. They are definitely NOT worth $54 a set. I may order lower-priced ones and return these over-priced ones, it's that much of a difference. We'll see. I'm definitely going to get some kind of protective finish on them if we decide to keep them.Bottom line: definitely would NOT recommend to a friend.

I was a little reluctant to try these baskets online, but I had a really hard time finding quality wicker for storage in local retailers.The set arrived yesterday. I was really impressed. These are great quality, tightly-woven, packaged well and fit perfectly in my bookshelf. The metal lining definitely makes these sturdy for everyday use and for heavier items that would normally tear right through less-sturdy wicker. I'm using them for clothes and plan to buy more sets to organize the chaos of my shelves.There were no color issues, and no shipping problems for myself. These also are deep enough to hold a lot. Many wicker baskets are long and thin and cannot hold taller items.One reviewer wanted to label the baskets, but was concerned they would not stick. If you do, here are a few suggestions: Use a needle and thread to tie the paper or cloth labels to the baskets. The weave is tight, but a small needle with fit through there and keep the weave snug.These are a definite buy if you need something sturdy or want to class up your bookshelf mess.

Good sturdy small freezer basket

I recently purchased a small (12.1 cu ft) upright freezer that I'm delighted with except that it had no baskets, so I purchased these. They are very sturdy and a good size for this freezer, although I can't put two on one shelf. They are just a tad too wide to fit two abreast but are a good height and allow the freezer door to close easily.I have one on each shelf holding things such as vegetables and fruit sealed in FoodSaver bags, which don't stack well. This allows me to store much more in the freezer and still have it easily visible and accessible. I'm using the other half of each shelf for tall things, things that stack well, or large items. While there are many other uses for these baskets, which are well made and have a nice smooth finish, I find them ideal for the freezer and recommend them.

Purchased for a side by side freezer where 12 inches wide is perfect. Just beware that the stated depth of 13 3/4" is not really correct. The basket depth is really only 12 1/2". The 13 3/4" inch is included the little loop handle. Not a huge deal, but just be aware.

This is a very nice basket and I'm sure I'll find a use for them (I ordered two) but they are not what I expected. You need to know that the dimensions given are outside dimensions and the 14 inches is from the outside of the handle, which is hardly visible in the photo, to the outside of the opposite side. Also, the sides of the basket taper from the top down, so the items I had planned to store in the basket are about 1 1/2 inches wider than the inside of the bottom of the basket. Not a really happy camper, but I'm sure they'll find a home, possibly under the kitchen sink.

These are really well made, and work great in my freezer to keep things from falling out, and organized. One even fits well in the top freezer of the refrigerator. Four of them fit into my big freezer, so when you are looking for something, you can just take out the whole basket and look through it quickly to find what you want.The price can't be beat.

Bought a new refrigerator and didn't like the way I had to stack everything on the freezer shelves. Thought this basket would be just the ticket to keep all the plastic baggies and small items in. I zip tied this basket to my rear bike rack and I love it. It seems very sturdy, is the perfect size for casual commuting and light errands, and is considerably less expensive than something labeled as an official bike basket. It hasn't been rained on yet so I'm not sure how it will withstand the elements over time, but so far I am very pleased.

I just received my medium and small baskets and could not wait to start getting organized! I am using these baskets in the pantry for my doggie's things, cleaning supplies, reusable bags & totes. I am ordering more to use in a free-standing wire rack to hold purses and scarves. These baskets are very sturdy and the label slot is a useful feature. Unfortunately one of the label slots on a small basket was rusted but I am keeping it as you can't notice it when the label is in.

I got a huge EXPEDIT shelf from IKEA and these fits perfectly into each cube. It is a bit longer than the EXPEDIT is deep, so if the shelf sits flush to the wall, these baskets might stick out a little, but for me, the shelf is about .5-1" away from the wall, so these doesn't stick out.holds a lot of toys for the kids, sturdy, and has a nice clean look. I would recommend these even if you don't use it with EXPEDIT.

My 14 yr. old son has a small walk in closet. He had a tall dresser and STUFFED them full! He opted to get rid of the dresser to free up room for desk, night stand and bed, while adding shelves to his closet for storing all his clothes and other stuff. Socks don't store well on a shelf so I searched for a solution and decided to try these. It seemed like a good deal and I'm happy I took a chance. I wasn't sure he could use all six, but figured I could use them elsewhere. He did use all of them for not only socks, but also t-shirts and pants. It's not a large basket, so his clothes are still "stuffed" in the baskets. He has three on each shelf (40" long) and three on the shelf below, appearing like a dresser.His shelves are 15 7/8" deep and they fit perfect with the handle facing the front. So the measurements the sight are from handle to handle is 16" and the 10" is deep.

I use these all over the house to store a variety of items. In my laundry room, I have them on a shelf and they contain laundry items and to store paper towels, napkins, paint brushes, you name it. Under the sink in my bathroom I use these baskets to store toilet paper, liquid soap, hairspray, etc. I bought the six-pack and had no problem finding places to put them. I like that they "hide" what is inside, especially in my laundry room. I also store school supplies in them. I like that they are substantial, and not flimsy. Very durable!

All baskets and bins that I have found to fit the Ikea Expedit Bookcase are too spendy! Seriously, why would someone pay $13 and more for one basket? I am so glad I ordered these. The baskets fit the bookcase side to side in each cubby perfectly and front to back. There is a gap up at the top measuring 3 1/4", but that's okay, because it makes it easy to take them out. I am even thinking of ordering more.I really suggest getting these. I have many of these baskets because they're the perfect size for fitting in the upper cabinets of my laundry room. I also use them in my master closet and love them. And I use them for long trips in the car (one with the snacks/food, another for the kids shoes, another for electronics, etc.). I usually purchase these at Walmart, but they don't carry them in the winter. But because these really are great baskets, I was willing to buy Amazon's only option of 6 at once. When I spend this much money on plastic, I fully expect that it will be NEW! What I got was a set of used baskets, and they weren't even TRYING to mask that fact. The box was double taped (retaped), and the baskets were dirty - REAL DIRT, REAL DISGUSTING!! Someone else's disgusting sticky dirt. How can you sell that to your customer??!! Completely ridiculous. If I could post the photo I would - to sufficiently gross you all out. So sad to see this happen to a great product.

Sturdy and practical

I bought this basket to go on the front of my mountain bike, which I also use to go grocery shopping and for other various errands. It fits comfortably on the front of my bike, and comes off easily for shopping and when I go riding on back trails (the basket stand is minimal and doesn't impede rough riding). I did have to remove my front reflector because the basket stand takes the space, but that was easily placed higher up on one of my handle bars.I'm not sure why some reviewers say their baskets fall off--the handle of the basket locks it into place when down, and there are 2 hooks on the bottom of the basket holding it in place. The only way that basket is coming off is if the handle is up and the basket is lifted off the hooks. The only suggestion I have is to wrap the handle with some cloth or something--it's thin and can hurt your hands when full of heavy groceries/items. Other than that, it's a great little basket! If it works on my cheapo mountain bike, it should work on anything.

This is my first review of an Amazon purchased product. I would first like to thank the people who reviewed it before me, those reviews really helped.I spent about a month looking for the ideal basket. It amazed how expensive they can be and, in the case of some, how impractical. I looked at several websites, bike stores, and a couple of big box stores. After reading the reviews here I decided upon this one and am very thankful.I highly recommend it if you are looking for a basket that can be used as a grocery basket or fit a grocery bag in it, can fit a lap-top in it, or a backpack, is more rain-safe then most, is easily removable, and sits beneath the handle bars so as not to get in the way of lights, reflectors, hand-breaks, etc. This basket's price here was far more reasonable then many less practical baskets. I was also happy that it came with all the attachment pieces and good directions to attach it. Plus, it does look really cute. I commute to work on my bike daily and it has held up very well.The minuses I saw in several reviews should be discussed. For one reviewer there wasn't a very comfortable handle to carry the basket when it got full and heavy, that reviewers advice was to tie some cloth around it. Another reviewer said it bounced when he rode it making a bit of racket. I had one occasion of this when I hit a giant pot-hole but, other then that it has been quiet and stable in my experience with it.So, if you are looking for a moderate size, removable basket, at a good price, this might be just what you are looking for....

Must install correctly

This product must be installed correctly to operate correctly(Obvious, huh?). I originally didn't study the examples given and just installed it to however it seemed to work and I had the same complaint as the negative reviewer: The bottom bar that pushes against the headstem would just fall off(I positioned such that it was tilted downwards) causing the basket to smash right into the front tire! After I looked at the pictures(Like the one at the top of this page), it became apparent the bottom bar is suppose to tilt upwards where the headstem meets with the handlebar and after reconfiguring it, it has never fallen off and is pretty sturdy. It's also VERY convenient for trash(And other more endearing objects), like when you're going through the late-night drivethrough(It's happened before!). Also, my handlebars are much thicker than the bicycle's handlebars in the picture so the supplied handlebar mounts and screws didn't really work and it would've taken a thinner and much longer screw to mount it: instead, I just used solid core wire laying around and wrapped it really tight. The mounts are still not completely "grasping" the bar, but it's solid enough to work. I have a 2008 Diamondback Response moutain bike so maybe it's not meant for newer mountain bikes in general? Or Diamondbacks specifically? Or, specifically, responses?Another note of caution is that the basket's handle is supposed to be in the pointing-up position when placing it on the rack, push in firmly and it should pop in, and then lay the handle to the side and it secures the top part of the basket. It appears like it should be pretty obvious, but I can understand how something like that can be missed since ... well... I don't remember it being in the instructions.

I did a month of shopping for front bicycle baskets for my Schwinn beach cruiser.Here's what I love about this basket..1.) It mounts on your handlebars around the gooseneck, which keeps it suspended away from the frame. Other baskets lay against the frame and scratch or rub the finish off of your bike.2.) The setup of this removable basket is quite ingenious, detatches in a blink of an eye, but remains safely attached until you remove it.3.) If you choose not to use the basket, the mount is not unsightly at all.4.) The basket sits high enough which allows you to mount a headlight on the fender with plenty of room to spare.The name plate on the font of the basket also has a nice retro look to it. All in all.. a great product. I really can't find anything wrong with it. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a nice detatchable basket.

Green alternative to paper but overpriced

This filter came free with my new Mr. Coffee. Walmart sells coffee filters 100/$1, that's about 500 to 1000 paper filters depending on your final cost for this filter. I've used a similar one before. It can last over 5 years, and it usually dies when the mesh cracks from age and repeated use.ProsIt makes a slightly stronger brew because the filter allows more oils through and in the longer run, one saves buying paper filters. Its greener to use it, since its less paper and trash for land fills.It has a flat plastic sealed bottom, so the coffee is forced to strain to the sides, slowing the transit of hot water through the grinds like that of a paper filter.ConsCleaning. You'll use water, time and effort rinsing this filter, after tapping out the grinds.Less grinds. The filter is smaller than the removable cup so it has less volume as a paper filter. Using 4 measures of ground coffee cause my grinds to overflow past the plastic filter and into my coffee pot.To clean it easier, I leave the grounds in the filter to dry out. I tap the inverted filter directly on a trash can or plate, and nearly all comes off as a lump or flakes out. You can wash off the rest. Its not any more a problem that cleaning a french press.

This definitely improves the taste of the coffee. I've always heard that traditional filters suck up some of the flavoring oils from the coffee, but after trying this I am convinced. I have a 10-cup Mr Coffee, and it fits perfectly -- almost as if this filter were made for it.

This makes delicious coffee. I was skeptical that I would have plasticy or metallic tasting coffee with a metal basket, but my coffee has never had such a warm woody taste since I started using the basket. cleaning is a little hard since I have to spray all the coffee out of it with the faucet hose, but it is worth the landfull space for me to spray a little bit. also keeps from filling my valuable cabinet space with a huge box of filters, and not to mention the hassle of separating them every time I want a fresh pot!this filter is magnificent, and much better than the cheaper ones which my friends have gotten and had metallic tasting coffee.

I got this metal filter for my Mr. Coffee JWX27-NPA 12-Cup Progammable Coffeemaker, Black because my environmentally-conscious husband doesn't want to use paper filters ever again. It brews a slightly weaker coffee than a paper filter and leaves a little sludge at the bottom of the pot but it's not a big deal. I just add 1 more tablespoon of coffee and drink the grit. hahaI've read complaints about this filter's solid plastic bottom. I found that this is actually better than a wire-mesh bottom because water doesn't pass through as quickly, resulting in a stronger brew. I have tried one all BF215 8-12 cup Permanent Basket-style Coffee Filter and it is exactly similar to this one except for its wire-mesh bottom. The resulting brew is very bland because water passes through the sides and the bottom too fast.On weekends my husband and I brew 10-12 cups of coffee and we've never experienced an overflow. As mentioned by another reviewer, those having that problem probably need to decalcify their coffeemakers.Tip: This filter sells at Target for only $5.99.

The service was good, prompt and communication was also good about the shipping. The filter works well. we were hoping for a filter that had mesh on the bottom of the filter as well as the sides. We couldn't tell from the photo if that was the case. The filter does have a solid plastic bottom so we were a bit disappointed. The filter does fit our Mr Coffee coffee maker and that is the important piece. We are satisfied with our purchase though not delighted.

This is a great filter! I've had it for about a year, and use it at least once a day. I wash it by hand most days (which is very easy to do) and wash it in the dishwasher about once every two weeks, and it's still in great condition. The mesh basket drips well, and yet I have never had a coffee ground in my cup since using this.

The specifications on Amazon don't say, so I took a risk. It fits just right. New, so I can't comment on durability. Convenient - I just wash the coffee grounds down the garbage disposal with a sprayer and re-insert, leaving me without a mess of grounds in the trash, plus I get to feel eco-conscious (though I wonder how many paper coffee filters you have to use to account for the increased manufacturing impact of this metal and plastic filter?)

Thought this would work properly in my Mr. Coffee coffee maker, but I was wrong! The basket, due to its solid plastic bottom, can't filter fast enough to keep up with the incoming hot water, so the coffee grounds float over the top and go unfiltered into the coffee pot, and the kitchen counter. What a mess!
