5 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised

I bought this rocker b/c I wanted to find a bassinet stand/rocker for my UPPABaby bassinet and didn't want to pay the $175+ for the UPPABaby brand stand. This rocker was very inexpensive and a great value. It works perfectly and I won't mind getting rid of it when my baby outgrows it in a few months.

3 out of 5 stars Buy this if you want to test the limit of your wife's pregnancy hormones...

Firstly, let's start off with this is just what we wanted for our moses basket, and it's fine now that I've assembled it (with the help of a few power tools to re-drill some of the pre made holes)The reason behind the okay?Picture coming home from work to find your 37 weeks pregnant wife in a heap of tearful rage among the box and wooden pieces that she has been trying to assemble for the past hour. Her determination to complete the project means that she has overlooked the fact that the reason the allen key won't turn the screws fully into place is not because she's "a weak, useless woman, who'll make a terrible mother," but because the holes have been drilled a little wacky in the factory, and we need to redo a few of them.To add to the drama, she expresses how she almost "bashed it all in" with a hammer, and then considered throwing it all out of the bedroom window onto the driveway below -as it just so happens to be trash day.In assembling this product, I do not recommend using the following phrases "Just calm down" and "I'll fix it".Overall, it does look great and the price for the product is fantastic. The price on my marriage? Well... let's hope the pregnancy forgetfulness helps me out a little.

4 out of 5 stars Great value for the price

I purchased this stand to go with our moses basket for our baby girl, and it's working well for us! It is lovely to be able to rock her when she needs it, and it allows us to move the basket around the apartment to have it hand wherever she falls asleep.I deducted a star as the product is not of the highest quality (one of the wooden rods split slightly when screwing it together), and I would have been happier if the wood was FSC certified. However, it is good value for the price.

5 out of 5 stars Works Great with Uppababy Vista Bassinet!
Austin

We bought the Jolly Jumper Rocking Bassinet Stand as an alternative to the Uppababy Bassinet stand that retails for almost 4x as much and we're happy we went with it as our choice. The best part about this stand is that it rocks, literally. The Uppababy version, while collapsible, is unable to rock. Anyone with a baby knows that a rocking motion can be helpful in soothing, so we really like this feature in the stand. The assembly is very straight forward. The key is to not completely tighten all of the screws until you have the structure mostly put together. When all of the parts and pieces are in place, then go around and do the final tightening. Things should line up just fine unless you've got a defective unit (which I haven't heard of).The only reason I see for going with the Uppababy version is the fact that it can fold, but with the difference in price you could buy 3 or 4 of the Jolly Jumpers and have them at a few different locations. Yeah, that seems wasteful, but I'm just putting it into perspective.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for the Britax B Ready Bassinet!
Victoria

We leant out our baby bassinet (5-in-1 Carry Me Near from First Years, which was great for travel) after our first son was born and it was ruined. So for baby #2, we were looking for a new set up. I didn't like the wheels/footprint on the Carry me near, and I hated that it wasn't washable (spot clean only). We already had the Britax B Ready stroller, so I was looking into the bassinet as a permanent option in the home. I didn't want to just put it on the floor -- my first son was an emergency csection and I would have never been able to get to him on the floor in those first few weeks. I stumbled on this stand, but wasn't sure that it would be secure or look very good with the Britax. Yesterday, I found it on clearance at our local baby store so I picked it up to get a closer look. I wish I could show a picture -- it's adorable! We have a black/green bassinet for the stroller that fits PERFECTLY in this stand. It looked a little too utilitarian for me so I whipped up a quick bright green and white striped bassinet skirt and now it is totally suitable for the nursery (or next to the bed.)I love this stand because it fits the Britax Bassinet, which means our bassinet can pull double duty -- a must for something you only use for a few months. I also love it because it is so reasonably priced, unlike most baby items. I love it because there aren't wheels sticking out for me to stub my toe on in the middle of the night (like a co-sleeper we borrowed and our old Carry-me-near bassinet). I feel like it fits our family and style more-- we don't have a bunch of frilly white things… and most bassinets are exactly that. I love that it is SO light. It is much easier to move this bassinet/bassinet stand combo around our old 1928 house (with 32 inch doors). There were two rooms that we couldn't but the old bassinet in without taking it apart. This was our perfect solution! I should have bought this 3 years ago!

4 out of 5 stars Perfect for Uppa Baby Vista!
Krisifis

I ordered this product to use with my Uppa baby Vista Stroller Bassinet b/c it was significantly cheaper than the name brand version. At first I was extremely disappointed b/c the bassinet seemed to collapse when placed on the stand. Thankfully another reviewer found the solution!"You can fix the issue of the sides collapsing inward by removing the mattress pad and the liner of the Uppababy Vista bassinet, revealing the board that is sandwiched between the inner and outer liners. Attached to this board are two metal bars, with straps, which need to be pulled outward and snapped into two plastic snaps on either end of the board. This makes the sides of the bassinet stand up and become rigid -- whether the bassinet is placed in this stand, or on the floor, or wherever. You can probably also resolve the issue of the opening being too long by screwing the rounded plastic pieces in closer (you'll just need to create your own holes), for a more secure fit. "These 2 small changes fixed the issue and now we have a perfect bed side bassinet. It is true that this product probably isn't the highest quality, but I am happy with this purchase.

5 out of 5 stars Love this basket as much as anyone can love a basket!
anton2g

This basket is basically perfect. Installing the thing was a breeze. It comes with everything you need to attach it, which was very nice. It doesn't rust or get dinged up, so I figure it will last a long time. I attached it to the back of my scooter (replacing the trunk). It works perfectly with a bungee net. This allows me to bring home a ton more groceries and stuff on my scooter because I can just fill it as high as I need to. The best things about it is that it looks great and the cost is perfect.I would positively buy this product again!

5 out of 5 stars Huge Basket!
A. Charney

This is a big basket, much bigger than I was expecting. That's a good thing, and it fits perfectly on a standard bike rack. I use the bike for a lot of things, buying groceries, fishing, buying beer. It is extremely sturdy and can hold a load so heavy you could end up doing wheelies. Installation could not be easier. There are two flat bars on the bottom as seen in the picture. You simply put the basket on your rack, then put the bars below the rack, and screw into the pre-threaded bars. There is some adjustment forward and back to prevent it from hitting your butt as you pedal. The black bar towards the high side of the back of the rack has red reflector tape on it. I attached a bike lite with zip ties to that area so that items in the basket wouldn't obstruct it. It's not inexpensive for a bike basket, but it is money well spent. It's very sturdy and well made.

5 out of 5 stars Make hauling a briefcase easy
ctl

Attached easily to my Avenir rear rack. The supplied hardware worked well. It took me 10 minutes.I got this because I had been trying to carry my briefcase in a front basket, but it was too heavy and it was breaking the front wire basket. I had to use a basket that mounts only on the handle bars because I have shocks on the front fork. This is a whole lot better. The only downside is that I can't swing my leg over the back to mount my bike, but it makes hauling my briefcase a breeze. It would be even better if it was an inch or so longer so my breifcase would fit lengthwise, but I just stand up the briefcase and use a bungie cargo net. My briefcase is fairly heavy with a laptop, but this rides very well, a whole lot better than having the weight in front or a backpack. I considered side baskets, but they are not wide enough for a regular briefcase. Last week I carried my briefcase along with a computer projector.I came back to my review at the end of April 2013 to post pictures, but there is not a way to do that. I saw some pictures somewhere that were very helpful when I purchased this, so i took some but there is no way to share them here. The basket comes with two straps that fit under the two wide black strips you can see in the bottom of the basket in the photo. The bike rack is sandwiched in between.

4 out of 5 stars Hey babe, nice rack!
Douglas S. Flint

I like this basket. It has become part of Isabell, my scooter. I carry all of the junk I can't fit under the seat. It's great for groceries, it can hold at least two bags. Need one? This is a good one.

5 out of 5 stars Life saver
laridk

This basket is very sturdy and easy to install, I like it a lot. I use my bike for everything, since I dont own a car. And this helps me out a lot, specially when I go out for groceries or to buy something. Its a decent size without looking goofy in my beach cruiser, so I recommend it. =)

5 out of 5 stars Great Rack.
BlackcatNat

I bought one of these for my wife because her rack wasn't very good. I was so impressed I bought one for my bike. I'd describe it as being fairly deep, certainly deep enough for all your groceries. It comes with all the hardware you need to install it and is very sturdy. I would agree with the other guy who noted that it kinda gets in the way when your trying to dismount, although it merely gets in the way rather than impede you totally.Buy the stretchy cargo net with it, cant go wrong..

5 out of 5 stars Great basket
Mike

This basket was a breeze to install on my Old Man Mountain rack and appears to be very sturdy. I ordered an Igloo 14.8 Quart Playmate Cooler to go in it for those grocery store runs that involve refrigerated goods and it is a perfect fit. This basket will certainly make my runs to the store a much easier task.

5 out of 5 stars Love it so far, carries alot of things.
anthony

Great basket, pretty firm and holds a lot of things. It was on the harder side to attach but it should fit almost every bike, you might have to bend the metal brackets but they are a soft metal so bending isn't a problem, as you screw it in they band to the shape needed.

3 out of 5 stars Gotta have Kawaii
#1 Daddy

So...had to have it since we are into the "Kawaii" thing and are sooooo over disney princesses now! It's cute, but it's pretty flimsy. It also had an incredible plastic/toxic smell when you first open it up. We let it "outgas" before we put it in my daughter's room. After one day it was fine. She loves it, but I'm not sure how long it will last.

5 out of 5 stars cute

This little pop up hamper is very cute! My daughter loves it and is happy to have it in her room!

1 out of 5 stars small and smelly
Rachel

This is about 1/2 the size of my other popup hamper (my fault for not noting the size) but also smells incredibly toxic. I'm not going to bother returning it, but I'm definitely not going to keep my daughter's clothes in it.

5 out of 5 stars kawaii~
Panada Boo

It arrived alittle over 2 weeks earlier than the expected delivery date. Shipped really really fast surprisingly..... it also works well too X) the only thing i kind of don't like is that rilakkuma doesn't have any ears :( it's just a laundry basket with rilakkuma's eyes and mouth but no ears D: also alittle small than the average plain old laundry baskets, but that's fine with me because if it fills up faster, gives me more of a reason to go wash my clothes instead of letting them sit in the basket for a super long time :D

4 out of 5 stars Perfect compliment to tropical decor.
razzle

The basket is sturdy and attractive, and the right size for my bedroom.I like the natural fibers. I keep it lined with a wastebag and plan to vacuum it occasionally to remove accumulated dust. A slight (but not unpleasant) odor was present at first but has since dissipated. Would like to see a matching magazinebasket.

I am happy with this waste basket. (Not much to say about a trash can really). It looks nice in my bathroom.

5 out of 5 stars heavy and just right
GChicago (International Man of Intrigue)

I saw a similar (looked exactly the same and same size) at a store. Saw the price at the store and thought; my goodness, I spent too much on my Amazon purchase. I picked up the store model and realized that it was thinner and about 1/2 the weight of this one. So if you need a cheap basket for the bathroom you can find them elsewhere. If you want a heavy woven basket with a good heft to it; this is worth the extra 5 or so dollars. This was a gift and the one it replaced had the bottom fall out. This one is sturdier and should last years if you don't put wet stuff in it. The smell is similar to that of many woven products you find at Pier1 or the other home stores; I didn't have any problems with it.

5 out of 5 stars Wald 585 Rear Basket
Rookie

Buying my third Wald 585. I now have one on each of my families bikes. Very unique basket for rear rack mounting. Received a lot of positive comments on this basket from others who saw it. Great for groceries, backpack, computer case, etc.

4 out of 5 stars Good Size, Works Well
bookowski

This basket is a nice size, it's big enough that it's actually functional for things like groceries, schoolbooks etc. but not so big as to be bulky or cumbersome. It feels relatively sturdy and for the price I would say it's definitely worth it. The mounting clip that comes with it does not work with most rear racks as several other people have mentioned, I removed the Wald clip and used zip-ties as others recommended and this seems to be working well so far. It would be nice it Wald updated this mounting gear. The rear basket seems to be more stable than a front mounted version where steering gets a little affected with heavy loads. Overall a really nice and useful basket.

5 out of 5 stars Sturdy, roomy, perfect for the bike!
J. Wyant

I read a lot of the mixed reviews on this product, but after a lot of comparison shopping, I felt this was the best option for me. So glad I chose this one!Yes, if you are buying this basket and already have a bike rack, it is unlikely the designated bolt holes in the rack will line up correctly or even work at all with the included basket hardware. But the structure of the basket itself is very sound, and I found that putting the thing on with a few sturdy zip-ties held the basket on quite well. Either others who used zip-ties put them on incorrectly, or they have one really weird bike rack that doesn't allow you to securely add zip-ties. I used 6 total - two at the front, two at the back, and two in the middle of the basket. It probably would have been fine with just the four. I live in an hilly area where some of the roads are badly paved and others are still the old cobble-stone type. Never had the basket become unstable, and never lost anything out of the basket, either!I would recommend this product to anyone who was looking for a study basket for their bike. The only person this wouldn't work for is someone who is looking for a detachable basket - unless you're really creative and figure out a way to attach it with modified hardware that allows for easy release.

1 out of 5 stars BEWARE - DOES NOT FIT WALD RACKS
J. Ross

I wanted a basket for my bicycle and made the logical decision to purchase a rack (required for mounting) from the same manufacturer. BIG MISTAKE. By Wald's (the manufacturer)own admission the tooling for the rack changed 3 years ago and the basket has not been updated. (I was assured that they are working on a new tooling, 3 years, give me a break!) They told me to attach the basket with zip ties. This makes if very unstable. Go for another brand.

4 out of 5 stars Great looking basket for the price!
Jess

As other reviews state, I did have to use zip ties to secure the basket in place, however, it was no big deal, I used clear zip ties and you can't even see them after I cut off the extra part of the tie that came through the loop. This is a great looking basket and I'm glad I purchased it to go with the Wald #215 rear rack I also purchased, the pair look great together and match my chrome fenders, I love it!

5 out of 5 stars Used zip ties (cable ties) and a bungee to secure to rack
Jeff

Installed on an eZip Trailz RMB rack using zip ties in the back of the basket and a bungee in the front. Fits one standard Jansport backpack full of college textbooks. I commute 5 miles to University daily, rain or shine, and the Wald 585 basket is still holding up very well.

5 out of 5 stars I l-o-v-e this basket
Eloquence Lives

How did I live without it? Good-bye backpacks and messenger bags. This basket is the perfect shape and size for my hybrid grocery-getter bike. It mounts easily to any standard bike rack. Mine did require a little modification with a few hose clamps, but no big deal. This basket is sturdy and well made. Makes running errands in town a breeze, from library books, packages from the post office to farmer's market. Did I mention I LOVE this basket ?

4 out of 5 stars Good Basket
Dominique Cowger

Bought to use with Electra cruiser rear rack. Does not fit with this rack or attachments. Had to attach with zip ties :-( but is good size for a grocery bag or my 12# dog. It is tall, as another reviewer said, and it took me 4 days to remember to not throw my leg over the seat and step over the middle instead.

4 out of 5 stars What's in the basket, kid?
cookieman108

'The tenant in room 7 is small, twisted, and very mad.' One of my favorite tag lines from a movie. This is a great, low bugdet shlock horror/comedy from the early 80's. It involves two brothers and their plot to get revenge. I hate to give anymore away, but this is a cult classic that has spawned a couple of sequels. I haven't seen them, but I have seen this one, and it's lots of fun. The story is definately interesting with its flashbacks and the actors will never win any Oscars, but they really help to make this movie. And then there's the seedy locations. Basically this type of film making is called "using what you got and making the most of it". And then there's the special effects....not over the top, but effective enough to fit nicely with the story. The stop motion animation was a little cheesy, but then that added to the fun of the movie for me. All in all, I had a great time watching this movie.Something Weird Video (SWV) did a really great job with this DVD. I was a little disappointed that the movie was only available in full screen format, but the amount of extras included was truly amazing. I really enjoyed the piece where the director goes back and tries to locate certain locations from the movie. Great stuff, and pretty complete. So, in closing, if you want to see a low budget, gory, horror/comedy schlockfest that was done really well, get this movie, if you've got the guts. And as an added bonus, get a glimpse of what times square used to look like before it got all cleaned up and 'disneyfied'. Not a lot of footage on this, but a chance to see how seedy and raw it used to be, with it's hookers, grindhouses, triple-X theaters, etc., compared to what it is now.

5 out of 5 stars BASKET CASE blu-ray info
Benjamin Gart

I'm giving the movie itself 5-stars (how could someone grow up in the 80s/90s and not rent it is beyond me!) but it's a great one. Henenlotter started strong and kept it going. But the info I want to make known is that the transfer for BC is a brand new one coming from the previously-thought lost negative. Henenlotter himself has stated online at places like Facebook that he thought he'd lost it but came across it a couple years back buried in his storage. He is excited about this as BC has never truly been seen the way he intended it to look -- transfer always came from beat up prints instead of the negative and never got the true attention he'd hoped for. This blu-ray will be a milestone for fans of Henenlotter, BASKET CASE, Belial and Something Weird Video. Here's hoping the BLOOD TRILOGY turns out as well!

5 out of 5 stars A truly unforgettable horror film
Michael J. Mazza

"Basket Case," directed by Frank Henenlotter, is one of my favorite horror films of all time. It tells the story of Duane, an ordinary young man with a bizarre secret: he carries his deformed, undersized former conjoined twin around in a basket (hence the film's title)."Basket Case" has an appealing low-budget feel to it, and Kevin Van Hentenryck is very likeable as Duane. Belial, the deformed twin, is an oddly sympathetic character. Yes, the film contains some scenes that many will find sick and depraved, but it also contains some truly haunting images. Disturbing, sometimes funny, and curiously moving, "Basket Case" is a truly unique piece of cinematic art.

5 out of 5 stars SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK
Wil-n-Tally

Basket Case is WAY out there and so sick that the mouths of those watching it fall open in disbelief. This movie was made outside of Hollywood; the sets consists of a seedy flophouse (not a Hollywood soundstage designed to look like a flophouse), a 42nd street grindhouse movie theater, and what looks like an abandoned building that is supposed to be a doctor's office. The actors and extras look like they were not saleried but worked for a chance to be on film and/or a bottle of wine. There was not much money to be spent on this movie. Instead, this horror masterpiece relied on imagination and a twisted sense of humor to make it work. The story concerns a pair of separated Simease twins. Duane, the normal (normal as in being able to walk on his own and not scare people with his looks) carries his brother around in a wicker basket. The bother looks like a big glob of putty with claws and teeth. Their goal is to exact revenge on the doctor's who separated them. There is lots of blood shed, horrendous acting by non pros, and a femme fatale with the most ridiculous hairstyle ever put on celluloid.

4 out of 5 stars Cult horror trash classic
S. D Haynie

If you're looking for a bit of a change-up for your Friday Night Horror Movie Parties, try this one. It's gory. It's got really cheesy 80's special effects. The actors ALL have bad hair. However, it is an interesting idea. The two brothers are clearly deeply connected to each other (or, at least they were...). The emotional conflict between the two (particularly the more "able" brother's desire to date) is intense and understandable. There were moments in this movie that were so funny (that I don't think were meant to be) that my husband and I just laughed and laughed. Some of the characters are over the top. There were some scenes (particularly the really bad stop-animation scenes) that made me wince in their low quality. I'm sure it was superb film quality at the time; but, now it's really bad.Overall, it's one of those films that you probably should watch. Get a friend who won't hate you when it's over, come to an agreement that this is intentionally quite trashy, and have fun watching a truly original, truly bizarre flick.

5 out of 5 stars useful!
J. Evans

This basket combo will grow with your child as their feeding needs change.the first basket holds nipples, pacifiers, and all those small bottle pieces. this isnt useless after your child graduates from bottles either. you could easily place other things in here.the valve basket is GREAT for toddler sippy cups parts. i used to place mine in the utensil basket(like where you put your normal forks, spoons) and they would fly around the dishwasher and i'd have to reach in and find them at the bottom but this basket holds them all together and gets them clean!the last and largest basket can hold pretty much anything you want. smaller 4oz bottles, sipply cups+lids, plastic eating utensils and straws(these used to also fly around my dishwasher cause they're so light). so it has something for every feeding age. and i love mine. they dont take up very much room in your dishwasher either, i was wondering before i purchased this online that they would be hgue but they're really not. i think they're perfect. makes things a little bit easier.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty Good!
S. D. Smith

The baskets are good sized to hold most infant feeding items including spoons, bottles, breast pump accessories and more. My only complaint is that the valve container is a little misleading. The openings are still too big for breast pump valves but nowhere in the information on the product does it clarify that it is actually designed for the larger sippy cup valves.

5 out of 5 stars Best Dishwasher Basket I've Found
Kiera's Mom

I have two of these dishwasher baskets, but I do not have the valve basket. They can be purchased separately at some stores. I originally bought another type of dishwasher basket that had the bottle nipple compartment on top, but it much more difficult to use. Everytime you opened it to add another nipple, the ones already in there would fall out. These dishwasher baskets are designed allot better. They have the nipple compartment on the bottom for better cleaning and have slots that the bottle nipples fit into. The best aspect, however, is that the nipples do not fall out when the compartment is opened.

3 out of 5 stars Works Great If You Know How to Use It
R. Austin

I received this from my Amazon.com registry before my son was born. I have been using it more and more recently. At first I was confused by the medium basket and how to place the nipples into it. I use the Tommee Tippee bottles with the wide neck so I couldn't fit more then 3 across the bottom. Then I had a DUH moment and went directly to the Prince Lionheart website. [...]I was laying the nipples in the basket incorrectly and now that I see how to do it, I think I'll be able to fit more in there. The big basket works great for bottles, tops, pacifiers, small toys, etc. The valve basket is great for those small valves in sippy cups. It keeps them all in one place so that they aren't flying around. My one gripe is the lack of any kind of instructions or pictures which has led to some confusion on how to place items in the basket. The medium basket isn't intuitive at all with the nipple placement.

4 out of 5 stars Great baskets for bottles and parts

Agree with much of the positive reviews here, and wanted to add that the baskets are slender enough across to fit our standard dishwasher top rack without straddling wires, which I was a little worried about. Taking away one star because the nipples undertray is great but tends to squish the nipples a bit when you close it -- either I'm not loading properly or the nipples are too big (? because they're newborn) or it's just a bit shorter than it needs to be. Still, everything seems to get clean and I'd say this is a good buy.

Just perfect! Fits all different sizes and doesn't rust like some of the metal ones. I highly recommend for anyone - even those without kids - I don't have kids and it is just perfect!

As an expectant mother, I have been cleaning all of my new baby products. I quickly realized that I needed something to put pacifiers and smaller items in, so I could just throw them in the dishwasher. These baskets are perfect for this. I bought this product with a drying tree, so I could just put the bottles and products on the drying tree after they come out of the dishwasher, and then I can relax! These are the kinds of things you never think to register for, but is essential to daily life!

5 out of 5 stars Still using it after 3 1/2 years!

I purchasd the combination of the valve basket, the toddler basket and the one with the compartments for the bottle nipples. I didnt find the valve compartment one useful at the time and ended up taking it to goodwill. Later I wished I had kept it for the sippy cup valves, but the 2 other baskets I have work great. These are both still going strong after 3 1/2 years. There is no wear and some days we even do 2 dishwasher loads per day - that is a lot of times that the hinges on these baskets are opened and closed!I use the nipple one for the sippy valves (in the top portion), breast pump accessory parts, plastic spoons, medicine vials and mini-tupperware pieces (such as condiment containers). The large one I use for sippy lids and anything else. There are just so many uses for these two baskets, that was worth the price of all three, even though I don't use the valve one.
