I bought this rocker b/c I wanted to find a bassinet stand/rocker for my UPPABaby bassinet and didn't want to pay the $175+ for the UPPABaby brand stand. This rocker was very inexpensive and a great value. It works perfectly and I won't mind getting rid of it when my baby outgrows it in a few months.

Firstly, let's start off with this is just what we wanted for our moses basket, and it's fine now that I've assembled it (with the help of a few power tools to re-drill some of the pre made holes)The reason behind the okay?Picture coming home from work to find your 37 weeks pregnant wife in a heap of tearful rage among the box and wooden pieces that she has been trying to assemble for the past hour. Her determination to complete the project means that she has overlooked the fact that the reason the allen key won't turn the screws fully into place is not because she's "a weak, useless woman, who'll make a terrible mother," but because the holes have been drilled a little wacky in the factory, and we need to redo a few of them.To add to the drama, she expresses how she almost "bashed it all in" with a hammer, and then considered throwing it all out of the bedroom window onto the driveway below -as it just so happens to be trash day.In assembling this product, I do not recommend using the following phrases "Just calm down" and "I'll fix it".Overall, it does look great and the price for the product is fantastic. The price on my marriage? Well... let's hope the pregnancy forgetfulness helps me out a little.

I purchased this stand to go with our moses basket for our baby girl, and it's working well for us! It is lovely to be able to rock her when she needs it, and it allows us to move the basket around the apartment to have it hand wherever she falls asleep.I deducted a star as the product is not of the highest quality (one of the wooden rods split slightly when screwing it together), and I would have been happier if the wood was FSC certified. However, it is good value for the price.

We bought the Jolly Jumper Rocking Bassinet Stand as an alternative to the Uppababy Bassinet stand that retails for almost 4x as much and we're happy we went with it as our choice. The best part about this stand is that it rocks, literally. The Uppababy version, while collapsible, is unable to rock. Anyone with a baby knows that a rocking motion can be helpful in soothing, so we really like this feature in the stand. The assembly is very straight forward. The key is to not completely tighten all of the screws until you have the structure mostly put together. When all of the parts and pieces are in place, then go around and do the final tightening. Things should line up just fine unless you've got a defective unit (which I haven't heard of).The only reason I see for going with the Uppababy version is the fact that it can fold, but with the difference in price you could buy 3 or 4 of the Jolly Jumpers and have them at a few different locations. Yeah, that seems wasteful, but I'm just putting it into perspective.

We leant out our baby bassinet (5-in-1 Carry Me Near from First Years, which was great for travel) after our first son was born and it was ruined. So for baby #2, we were looking for a new set up. I didn't like the wheels/footprint on the Carry me near, and I hated that it wasn't washable (spot clean only). We already had the Britax B Ready stroller, so I was looking into the bassinet as a permanent option in the home. I didn't want to just put it on the floor -- my first son was an emergency csection and I would have never been able to get to him on the floor in those first few weeks. I stumbled on this stand, but wasn't sure that it would be secure or look very good with the Britax. Yesterday, I found it on clearance at our local baby store so I picked it up to get a closer look. I wish I could show a picture -- it's adorable! We have a black/green bassinet for the stroller that fits PERFECTLY in this stand. It looked a little too utilitarian for me so I whipped up a quick bright green and white striped bassinet skirt and now it is totally suitable for the nursery (or next to the bed.)I love this stand because it fits the Britax Bassinet, which means our bassinet can pull double duty -- a must for something you only use for a few months. I also love it because it is so reasonably priced, unlike most baby items. I love it because there aren't wheels sticking out for me to stub my toe on in the middle of the night (like a co-sleeper we borrowed and our old Carry-me-near bassinet). I feel like it fits our family and style more-- we don't have a bunch of frilly white things… and most bassinets are exactly that. I love that it is SO light. It is much easier to move this bassinet/bassinet stand combo around our old 1928 house (with 32 inch doors). There were two rooms that we couldn't but the old bassinet in without taking it apart. This was our perfect solution! I should have bought this 3 years ago!

I ordered this product to use with my Uppa baby Vista Stroller Bassinet b/c it was significantly cheaper than the name brand version. At first I was extremely disappointed b/c the bassinet seemed to collapse when placed on the stand. Thankfully another reviewer found the solution!"You can fix the issue of the sides collapsing inward by removing the mattress pad and the liner of the Uppababy Vista bassinet, revealing the board that is sandwiched between the inner and outer liners. Attached to this board are two metal bars, with straps, which need to be pulled outward and snapped into two plastic snaps on either end of the board. This makes the sides of the bassinet stand up and become rigid -- whether the bassinet is placed in this stand, or on the floor, or wherever. You can probably also resolve the issue of the opening being too long by screwing the rounded plastic pieces in closer (you'll just need to create your own holes), for a more secure fit. "These 2 small changes fixed the issue and now we have a perfect bed side bassinet. It is true that this product probably isn't the highest quality, but I am happy with this purchase.
