I've used these exact baskets for several years. I like to get them in different colors, since I often remember something is in the pink/blue/red basket. We moved recently & I needed more. I got a few at The Container Store. But I bought a few more from Amazon in different colors that The Container Store didn't have. The solid bottom means small things won't fall through the bottom The small holes on the side make it easy to see smaller items that may be in the basket, say if it's on a cabinet shelf that is at eye level.I use them to store like items, especially in our bathroom linen closet. Hand creams go into one. Makeup goes in another. Bandaids, elastic bandages, etc go in another. When you need to get to something from the back of the linen closet, it's SO much easier to pull out a few baskets rather than a gazillion bottles/tubes of things.Easily washable.Highly recommend.

I am actually getting addicted to these little baskets. First off, they are cheap - great price on amazon. They are super sturdy and I'm finding so many uses for them I'm wondering how I did without. The bottom piece is all one solid piece so you don't have to worry about anything falling through and they are easy to clean.

This basket works well as a daytime sleep spot - you could even use it for nights in lieu of a bassinet.We skipped the version with the hood because we thought it looked a little silly, but in hindsight might have opted for the sun-shade for those daytime naps.The big downside we ran into was the way the liner fell apart after its first wash, despite following the instructions which indicate that machine washing is okay. Maybe if you hand wash it you'll have better luck.I'd have given this basket 5*s if it hadn't come with the flimsy liner.

I love this because i can take it anywhere and have somewhere for baby to sleep. I comes with me when i go clean homes and I love that I can set My baby anywhere without having to put it together like the pak n play that we have. Doesn't take up very much room in our tiny bedroom. It seems very sturdy still after 3 moths of everyday use. I would recommend getting 2 sets of sheets for it.

I'm happy I bought this bed knowing my baby would only be in it for a few weeks and didn't spend more than $30 on it. I would definitely suggest a Moses Basket for any new parents. Unless you like all the "frilliness" of a bassinet, I would recommend this basket. Its simple and does the job.

I weave these baskets with ribbons and make blankets to match. They really are a great gift for a baby. But THIS basket was very small. Smaller than all the baby baskets that I have used in the past. I wondered why it was such a great deal, I believe the size is why the price is great. It is more like a doll basket, a baby could only use it for a matter of weeks. That is bad if you would put a lot of work into it and then possibly buy a stand to go along with the basket. But that aside, it is nice that the little mattress is included and the quality of the basket is good,, just so darn small.

I consider this type of basket a must-have for parents of babies and toddlers unless they want to do a lot of hand-washing. Not just bottle parts but also pacis, utensils, sippy cup parts, pump parts and even small toys make it worthwhile. Most are supposed to be in the top rack of the dishwasher only, and this is the best way to keep all those little things up there.The OXO basket seems to be well-designed and well-made. That said, which basket works best for you is largely a matter of your dishwasher and exactly what you are washing. The fact that the nipple compartment built into the lid opens down the middle does help stabilize the basket and make loading easier - but makes it hard to open if you load it with little utensils that get turned sideways. I find it perfect for pump parts, but largish bottle nipples don't fit in it at all. The straw holders (slots for 8) are inside the basket but fold well out of the way when they aren't in use.I find this to be roughly equivalent to the Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket Colors May Vary, which I also own. The OXO version is more expensive, but also about 1/3 longer, so probably worth it if you need that space. Munchkin's lid compartment has the same issue with being too small for bottle nipples that are on the large side. In the end I might favor the OXO basket slightly, but find them very comparable in value.

We bought this as our 2nd dishwasher basket, and I must say its better than the first. Like most probably did, we bought the Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket, Assorted. The Munchkin is highly rated, but not that great. The main issues is the inconvenience of having the top shelf items always fall out when I need to add something new.The OXO item, has a pretty red top, but more importantly you can open and close it with out the nipples falling out. It does a good job of holding standard nipples for 4-5 oz bottles. (Haven't tried nipples for 8-9 0z bottles).Plus the OXO is much bigger, (longer mostly). If I had it to do over again, I would only go with the OXO, because of its top, although the bigger size is a bonus too.

This basket is a little bit longer than the munchkin basket that seems to be the "go to" tot dishwasher basket. It holds more and has a lot more features that I love!The sippy cup straw holder is perfection! It holds the straws upright and on the sides to allow the water to run through them and get them really clean. There is no danger of them making an escape in the bottom of the dishwasher as they are securely held in place.The white portion of the basket below is great for larger plastic parts to sippy cups, silverware, lids etc. It even will hold a good amount of the Dr. Browns bottle inserts that don't fit in all dishwasher baskets.The orange section above is perfect for bottle nipples and rubber sippy cup parts. It can also hold little spoons and the like.The basket fits well in my dishwasher without taking up a ton of space. It is easy to place in and remove from the dishwasher. I have used it on the top and bottom racks with no meting or warping. The plastic is durable and should hold up for as long as I need the basket.

If only I had known how much easier my life could have been...This basket is simply awesome. From the day you bring your baby home, this is a useful item. I almost literally smacked my forehead when I saw the cleverly-designed nipple holders on the top of the basket. "Why? Why hadn't someone told us about this two years ago?"But even with a two year-old, this is an absolutely brilliant item to have. The rubber nubs inside the top of your sippy-cups? Totally safe. Hard plastic straws? Holders along the sides. If you're concerned about exposing your baby to detergent and dishwasher has a "sanitize" setting, you can toss your gear in the basket, run the cycle without detergent, and be reasonably sure that you're not going to wind up with a plastic mess from parts bouncing around your dishwasher, or coming too close to the heating element.The basket openings are small enough to keep any common baby item safe, but large enough to let everything get clean. And like many other OXO products, the overall construction quality is great. Not to mention the basket is BPA-free.

Bigger than the munchie basket, better opening system

We own the munchie, but it wasn't big enough. This one is about 25% larger. Also, the top opens up like double doors which allows access to the red lid compartment or main basket without dumping out the red lid's contents--a problem with the munchie. We use dr.brown bottles & Medela pump parts and everything fits perfectly. The "straw holder" is located inside the main compartment--good if your parts are short or small, bad if they are longer than about 4 inches...the munchie has the straw holder on the outside of the basket...This hasn't been an issue for us.

I bought one of these for myself and I love it so much that I'm buying one to give to a friend. I know it's supposed to be for washing baby bottle items but that's not what I'm using it for. I bought it for those items that are so small that they slip through the dishwasher top wire rack, or so light that the force of the water knocks them out of place and down to the bottom of the D/W (e.g the lid to my coffee pot, the lid to my thermos, small custard cup lids, etc). Before I bought this, I had several items melt when they fell through my D/W wire rack onto the heating element below. This box nestles nicely in my D/W top OR bottom rack, and can hold a lot of small items. I have a tiny D/W so it doesn't fit between rows, but it has holes in it so I am able to position it with the D/W prongs going up through it (which is actually way more secure). The square holes in the top, bottom, and sides each measure approx 5/8" so if you are washing something skinny like a glass stirring stick then you should put a lid or cap at each end of the basket to prevent skinny items from slipping out. But it stays shut securely and allows flow of water and items emerge safe and clean and dry. The only thing to be aware of is that sometimes the force of water will flip things around inside, so you may have to hand-dry some items in the basket after the rinse/dry cycle is complete. The basket top can be removed (the hinged lid snaps on and off when necessary) for those times when you are using it to hold something tall that just needs to be protected from other dishes banging into it (I sometimes snap off the lid and use the basket to separate my fragile juice glasses from other dishes when doing a load). When I'm not using it, I remove it from the D/W and store it in a cupboard.Read more ›

Very fun game with good Online Play!!!

I don't understand why some people think this is a bad game because to me this game is very fun! This game is a blast if you have people to play with, and even if you don't Wi-Fi is great. Wi-Fi has a points system something like what Wii Sports has and if you get to 1000 you get a medal for that sport. There is alos little to no lag during online play. The game also has a lot to do for just 1 player. It will take you a while to unlock everything this game has to offer. Anyone who puts Dodgeball down has not played this game because it might be the best game on the disc! All 4 sports are well done and easy to play. I think this is an excellent title that any Wii owner and Mario fan should at least try out. The only thing this game lacks in for me is music. I thing they could have had much better music in this game, but this game to me is excellent.

I have played this game with my kids (6 and 11). It is an excellent cooperative play game for a family or group. The controls are not too complex, good music & graphics and simple enough for younger kids to play successfully. My only complaint is that there are only 4 sports. I expected more for the price. We were hoping to unlock additional sports as we progressed, but have only unlocked additional locations. Still, it's good fun.

Perfect for my 6 year old. He is not able to play other Mario games, but the "easy" setting is indeed quite easy and he doesn't get frustrated with complicated controls. The husband plays along on the harder setting and he doesn't get too bored with it. The visuals are nice and colorful, and my son loves picking his characters, too.I bought it on consignment for $10, and I think it's a steal... but if I had to pay full price for it, I would maybe be peeved that there are only 4 games to pick from. I could see how many would give this a 4 star for the hefty price tag, but my purchase was a 5 star.

The games on here are traditionally children's games and after you play a few of each type (volleyball, dodgeball, hockey, basketball) this game doesn't appeal to you anymore. The online isn't popular and you end up playing the same person every time. The online is really laggy.

Baskets are Great for the Utilitarian Bicycle

I have spent the last 2 summers struggling with the decision of whether to purchase these baskets or not. I did not particularly want to add significant weight or bulk to my bike and yet I found myself frequently in a situation where I needed to haul things around and wished I had a "trunk" to put them in. After finally committing to the purchase, I must say I am thrilled about my decision.As a frequent commuter by bike to work downtown, I often come home with more than I take in. Now, rather than fooling with bungie cords or hanging cumbersome plastic bags off of my handlebars, I simply unlatch the baskets and neatly place my shopping bags in them. So far I have conveniently and safely hauled such things as produce and potted plants from the farmer's market as well as bottles of wine and library books. The convenience is well worth the added weight. I love my baskets!I think this is a wise purchase for anyone who uses their bike (rather than a gas guzzler) as a means to get around and complete common errands. One who rides merely for the sport of it, may find the extra weight too burdensome. The baskets are utilitarian in nature. Go without if you are looking for the fast and sleek ride.The only reason I did not give a five star rating to this product has to do with the hardware that is included with the product. In order to attach the baskets to my bike rack, I had to purchase longer bolts to properly secure the braces, so keep in mind that, when it comes to hardware, one size does not fit all bike racks. After making this modification, however, I am glad to report that I am not experiencing the "rattle" that a few other customers have detailed in their reviews.Read more ›

I use these baskets with the Topeak rear rack to great success.Things you need to know off the bat:-The mounting hardware is useless. I attached mine with micro hose clamps from Precision Brand. NOTE: I used the "micro" hose clamps, and they worked, with a lot of elbow grease -- but it might be easier with the larger size. Then again, maybe not, I don't know. Anyway, I used five hose clamps on each side and I think it's going to be a LONG time before these baskets go anywhere.-The basket-closing hooks are absolutely impossible to move using your bare hands -- at least if you mount your baskets the way I did, maybe there is more torque going on than the hooks are designed for. Wald could put "wings" on the backs of the hooks if they want to make them a little more ergonomic, but they didn't. I simply use mini bungee cords from this set to hold them closed. It works out because when I want to fold the basket down, I remove the bungee cords, and then I can use them to hold down whatever I put in the basket!-One guy on here said his baskets are already showing signs of rust. Mine are in a few places, but I don't think they're going to fall apart any time soon.OK now you might be wondering. This basket is reasonably sturdy and the quality of the gloss black finish is excellent. The folding design works well. It looks as if it would rattle like crazy when you're riding with it folded, but thanks to the tight retention hooks, it's quite solid. The basket's nicely sized for grocery bags.The downside here is the same as with the other Wald products I've tried: The mounting hardware is appallingly out of date. It's English, not metric, and Wald doesn't use locknuts, only lockwashers attached to the screws (where they are useless). This is less of an issue here than it is for the other Wald products, because this one doesn't attach directly to your bike, only to the rack. Go out and buy some locknuts and you'll have no problems.Alas, the mounting clamps are too small to fit the fatter tubing used on many modern racks. You'll probably have to use the Wald rack (or some other old-school, inexpensive rack). And that rack is well-built and sturdy, but its mounting hardware has to be adapted to fit current bikes.

I use these baskets ALL the time. They're amazing. I recommend, though, getting a few small bungee cords to help secure things so they dont jump out over the top of your baskets, but other than that, they're quite sturdy. They are a little bit difficult to secure to the back rack, but once done you'll wonder what you had ever done without them.

I am outfitting a bicycle to become my basic errand vehicle for my return to city living, and chose these as my carriers for a few reasons:*They fold! When shut down, they collapse to about an inch thickness-- very convenient!*Unglamorous metal framing lacks the sexy steal-appeal of voluptuous panniers*They fit a purse, grocery bag, or school bag-- all things I'll be carrying.*They come in a set of two, and are reasonably priced!Once I had my rear rack on, these attached very easily with basic household tools. I had no problem installing them, but someone with very large hands may have problems. I have had no problem with rattling, and have not used any additional hardware to secure them. A tip-- I found it useful to pinch down the U-clips before screwing them on, to get rid of the gap.They do add a bit of weight to the bike...around five pounds. My bike is no aluminum frame wondermachine, so it's not a huge difference to me, but it could be an issue for someone who wants something very easy to lift and carry.

Great for classroom libraries

I am a first grade teacher and use these baskets for my classroom library. I was so disappointed that for some reason the retailers in my area have quit carrying them, and so happy to find I could still get them at Amazon.com. If I have a larger number of leveled books, I also use the larger size matching basket. They are very sturdy and very few have cracked or broken through the years.

My wife loves baskets. We bought these specifically to organize our new baby's bottles/pump accessories/other gear in our cabinets, and they fit PERFECTLY in the standard depth upper cabinet. We could only find the larger sizes locally, even at a few stores. We have some of the larger ones to hold medicine, bathtime things, etc. in other parts of our house. Good quality, STURDY baskets.

I am using these to stack cleaning products in for under my sink so that I don't have to pull all those bottles and such out one by one when necessary. These work very nicely. I purchased one of these two years ago at a specialty grill store. I had read good things in Cook's Illustrated about it's larger cousin and I figured this smaller one would be worth a try.I love this basket. I have tried every other product you can imagine to cook small veggies and such with very limited success. I have a closet full of gadgets that either didn't work or had so many design flaws they weren't worth using. Not so with this basket. The sides are high enough to allow you to toss around your veggies as you cook. The handles are just large enough to allow you to get a good grip on them and just small enough not to get in the way. The holes or slots are large enough to allow really good direct contact with heat and small enough so nothing falls through them. I started out doing the classic grill veggies such as zucchini, mushrooms and onion but soon realized I could now try pretty much anything. My families favorites are grilled green beans and grilled broccoli (my personal fave). Grilling these two really changes their flavor profile and will amaze whoever you are cooking for. Another dish my family loves is "grilled" stirfry. I 'stirfry' the veggies over a screaming hot heat on the grill before adding it to the rice and such. This basket also helps make a killer fajita by allowing your to get a good char on green peppers and onions. I can't say enough good things about this basket, definitely one of my absolute favorite grill accessories.Ok, so I've read all the negative comments about clean up. I suppose if you are one of those people who simply must have shiny stainless steel cooking implements for your grill then, yes, this basket might be a problem. How did I grill without out this??

I hesitated to add this after a few comments made below - but boy am I glad I did. It is big, (takes up about half of my 3 burner surface on my Weber Genesis) but is SOOO easy to use and works great for veggies. Just chop and toss in.Like a few suggested, I use peanut oil to keep the veggies from sticking.And as for the comments about this being really tough to clean . . .I don't have any idea what the complaint is. A couple of drops of soap and a little water - this thing cleans up slick, with no food particles left. It is stainless steel, so of course it will tarnish and discolor, that is the nature of stainless steel when heated. If you want it to look new - then don't use it!!

We use this basket very frequently. It makes grilling vegetables and potatoes much easier than using aluminum foil or using skewers. True, once you use it, it will lose its shinny metallic luster, and will turn into a combination of black and brown, but rest assured, it is clean and safe to grill on.

This replaced one of those cheap, round teflon coated pans that was losing it's coating (can't be good for us!). I sprayed this with oil prior to use, then heated it and removed from the heat to spray again 4 more times. This created an "emulsion" coating on it which made it a cinch to clean up. And so far it is just as silver as when it came out of the box! I really think that taking the time to pre-treat it in this way (something I saw on America's Test Kitchen on PBS).

This grill basket is very versatile for cooking any type of vegetable. Just toss with oil and throw on low heat on the pre-heated grill. Our favorites are fingerling potatoes, escarole with garlic, and asparagus. After the first use the pan gets discolored with a grilled-on patina. It's not worth trying to scrub it off. It's 9" square at the base and 11" square at the top. We sometimes have to cook in two batches when serving more than four people. We've already offered one as a gift and will likely give this again. We're even thinking of buying a second one so we can cook two batches at once. A very nifty invention!

I've used this many times for the past two summers and it is great for grilling vegetables. Usually we put in some squash, zucchini, onions, asparagus, and mushrooms. Have not noticed any metallic taste and we do not keep it shiny clean. It has turned black and brown in places due to the food browning. We wash with soap and water and use it again kinda like we would a skillet.

So this is exactly what you'd expect it to be. Stainless Steel and does a good job of holding things that are larger than the openings in it.Importantly, why to get this for a Weber Grill over more generic ones that I've also purchased. It actually fits under the secondary grate. Other ones I've used don't fit under the secondary rack so you end up having to take it off in order to use the basket. This one actually fits under it on a Weber grill, which makes dealing with that secondary rack much easier.
