I took some tiestraps and ran them through the corners and hung it on the wall next to the door.It's handy to put the dog leash in, my gloves, keys, anything you need close to the door.It's mesh is sturdy, not flimsy.

I bought this to use for washcloths in my bathroom closet. I was originally going to roll them up & put them in here - but I realized they would all unroll as I used them - so instead I folded them - meaning there was no pressure being applied to the sidewalls of this basket.Today I was doing laundry & so I pulled this out of the closet to fill back up with clean washcloths. I quickly noticed that the sidewall is no longer attached to the bottom - there's about a 1/2" gap between the sidewall & the base...Not sure how or why it happened - this hasn't done anythign aside from sit on a shelf & hold folded towels. No rough handling & obviously it's practically new (in fact the tag is still attached since I couldn't find scissors when it arrived & figured I'd eventually deal with removing that). I think it might be that the piece of mesh that's used to make up the sidewall is too long & was forced to fit - and with time the pressure just pulled it away from the bottom...but I don't know.Thankfully I'm still within the return window - so it's going back. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to the other ones I bought that I can't return (since those were purchased just a week or so earlier).But I guess it's not too surprising - there's probably a reason why it is this cheap. Shame because it seemed like a nice basket...till it came apart..._________________________Update - the other basket I kept is still OK (five months later). So I'm updating the review to 2 stars. It would get 3 but I haven't put it to much use - it's been 1/2 full in the closet bathroom holding a separate small set decorative towels that never see the light of day...but at least it that didn't cause the sidewall to break away.

This basket it quite sturdy. The measurements are for the bottom inside of the basket. Since the sides are sloped a little it isn't quite as big as I wanted but I misread the measurements to start with so I am not using it for the space for which I bought it; nevertheless, I did find a use for it. I think the price is fair especially compared to the many baskets I have looked at over the past year. I see this basket lasting for many, many years.

This is a pretty small basket (which if I'd bothered to read the measurements I would have known before it appeared in the mail). Still, it's great for neatly storing small things like spice bottles and small packages of baking supplies. I like the fact that if I have it out for baking, and I manage to get crumbs or flour in it, they fall right through the basket and back on the counter instead of piling up in the bottom and corners of the storage cube.

I have used this product/ feature before with no problems. However, this last time was HORRIBLE. The whole point of these printable gift cards are that they are fast and easy. That was not the case this time.I logged in to Amazon, chose my card, put in all my info, etc. and clicked to purchase the product. It told me an email would appear in my box shortly. It did. It said something to the effect of "This is a confirmation of your order. Another e-mail should arrive shortly with instructions for printing your card." Previously, the second email has appeared nearly simultaneously with the first. Not so this time. I waited and waited. After 15 minutes, when it still had not arrived, I went back to the Amazon site to check the status of my order. It told me that it was still trying to confirm/ verify my credit card. Mind you this is the same card I've been using on Amazon for *years* and it isn't close to expiry, nor is it close to the credit limit, so I didn't see what the problem was, but I waited some more. When another 30 minutes passed and the email still had not appeared I called customer service. (We had reached the point where it was time to leave for the party we'd bought the card for.)The customer service person was not very helpful, and apparently not very bright. I explained that I'd been waiting for 45 minutes, and he said "Yes, I think we can help you within the next 45 minutes." I tried again, saying that I had *already* been waiting 45 minutes, and it was time for me to leave the house, and could he please see what the problem was quickly. He came back and told me that they were verifying my credit card. Again, I explained that I *knew* that from my status check, but I wanted to know *why* they were still verifying. He put me on hold to check on it. About 5 minutes later he came back on the line and told me that the problem was taken care of, and that I would be getting the email with instructions to print the gift card within the next 24 hours. At this point I had pretty much lost my patience. I told him that I didn't need it in 24 hours, I needed it NOW, which was the whole point of the stupid thing. I told him that he'd better put a manager on the phone right away, and that if my problem wasn't fixed they would loose me and my family as customers.Luckily the manager seemed to be a smart person. I was on hold for another 5 minutes before the manager got on the phone. When she did get on, she told me that she'd taken care of the problem, and would I please check my email one more time. Thank goodness the email was there, and I was able to immediately print the gift card, and we were only about 15 minutes late for our party.I do think these printable gift cards are a great idea, and have been happy with them in the past. I don't know what happened that made my "instant" order take over an hour this time, but it will definitely make me think twice before using this product next time. My recommendation to anyone who uses it in the future will be "Don't wait until the last minute." I find this sad, because that is supposed to be the beauty of the thing. Oh well. I live in the UK and my family wanted to know what to get me for Christmas. I immediately thought of an Amazon gift certificate that I could use in the UK and not have to lug a bunch of Christmas presents back on the flight. I know that Amazon has a british website, but I (stupidly) assumed that I could have my orders shipped to the UK....not the case. I spent ages trying to pick out what I wanted only in the end to find out that NONE of my orders could be shipped to the UK. I ended up letting my mom use my account so she could use the gift certificate. Here's the best part: I ordered everything I wanted on the British site and one of the exact items I had in my US basket (that wouldn't ship to the UK) would now ship to me ....it's from Illinois!Long story short...if you want to get this as a gift for someone living outside of the US make sure it's the amazon site in their country!

I bought two of these to sit by the printer and my desk to have a place to dump "to-be-recycled" paper. I had been using a box from some file folders but a) it was too small and b) it was fairly flimsy.These bins have nice high sides so they can hold a good bit of paper and I got them in legal size (even though much/most of my output is letter sized) so that it was easy to cram stuff in there (don't want to have to take it out to the recycling bin in the garage too often).

We've had a series of inbox tray organizers over the years, and I like this one the best. The plastic ones get dusty because of static, the wooden ones are expensive and get dinged up over time, and the solid metal ones look sterile.This one is inexpensive,and looks good on my desk. It's plenty deep enough for whatever papers I want to put in it, and the clear plastic feet protect the wood on my desk.

I got these to organize my pantry. They are nice and deep, they hold items in nicely (I just wish they didn't have a tapered side). I attached a piece of galvanized pipe clamp to the very front, to not only be able to pull them out of the pantry, via the "pull" but, I also put a label on that pull, for whatever items belong in that particular bin - it keeps a pantry organized and tidy - if it can do this for a pantry - I can only imagine that it does, just as great a job, in an office environment!Well made and sturdy! Going to get more for, under the cabinets, and use them in my Closets, bathrooms and craft room storage areas! They ARE a bit pricy - but who can REALLY put a cost on the happiness of a well organized home!

I was in my home office when I glanced down and saw a pile of papers all over the place. How tacky. I decided to get something to at least get all of them off the floor. I found these at Amazon. I made sure they were the right size then bought two. Fellowes makes quality items just as I had expected. I took all my papers and plunked them into the desk tray. It was a good it and I also was able to put another pile of papers away, too. Just remember to make sure you have the right size organizer before you but it. They're well made and sturdy and should last a long time.

I was looking for a fill-and-spill toy that she would not outgrow as quickly as many other baby toys and I was hoping for something that she would use for creative play for the next couple of years. It was the last of the gifts that we bought for her first Christmas, and I just know it was meant for her to have.DESCRIPTION:Everything is made of hard plastic, except for the checked "blanket" which is like a handkerchief. The basket is packed pretty full with everything inside, but she can easily fit it all back in without help. She loves carrying all of the pieces around in her little hands. She did not carry the entire basket around until recently (14 months) and still prefers not to, but she has always taken it off of her toyshelf and sat with it closeby in the floor. this is a great toy! very durable, bold colors. everything fits into the basket so it's easy to store and not lose pieces. My 18 month old daughter loves playing pretend and this is a great toy for her. Plus, all the food is a shape that fits in it's on spot on the plates, like a puzzle. It helps her with shapes, colors and I can get her to clean up when she's done. And she loves carrying this around the house.

Great gift for one year olds

Gave this as a gift to my friend's one year old twins and they love it. It works really well for twins because there are 2 of basically everything in the basket so sharing is easy and I see them playing with it almost every time I visit. I was concerned when I read reviews about the potential choking hazard but I have seen the girls put the pieces in there mouths and they are far too large to be swallowed. They have a great time playing with all of the pieces and the best part is it has an off switch which I know the parents enjoy.

I hated this toy when my daughter got it as a gift. All that plastic and the horrible, noise-making buttons and the worst song about colors you ever did hear. BUT, my daughter LOVES it! It has been, hands down, her favorite toy since she received it when she was around 8 months old. I can now be heard singing some of the songs I detest. They may be growing on me.My mom got it for my twin nieces after seeing how much my daughter played with it. It is perfect for twins as there are 2 plates, 2 forks, 2 glasses and so nice for sharing. They liked it immediately! My only complaint would be that the glasses have holes in the bottom. My nieces are 3+ and like it so I think the age could be extended for over 3 yrs. it is a great gift!

Only Shoe Pocket Hanger that Fits Men's Size 12!

My dad had been trying to store his shoes in a shoe pocket hanger he bought at a local home improvement store. His size 12 shoes torqued out of the pockets no matter how they were put in. Despite the thick nylon and sturdy construction, his old shoe organizer was tearing and dropping shoes onto the closet floor. I had actually bought this Rubbermaid shoe organizer to hold scarves, hats & gloves, because the pockets looked deep enough to hold our big scarves. When it arrived, and I saw the size of the pockets -- height and depth -- I tried Dad's shoes in it. They FIT! No torquing, no tearing, just nice, flat, secure storage. I'm buying two more, and I'm even writing a review, which I've never done before. It's really silly how happy this made me!

Depends on what you're using it for

I dont' see how this possibly could be used for clothing or anything of any weight, but I bought it to hold wrapping paper and related items and it's perfect for that. Those trash-can-looking plastic things that get sold right after Christmas aren't tall enough to hold most wrapping-paper rolls (who designs those things and how out of it are they?). This is exactly the right length, and it fits underneath a bed easily.

Pretty clever design, really. It opens up "four-slots-wide" and hangs over-the-door. Or it folds in half and hangs "two-slots-wide" on a closet rail. There's some velcro in place to hold the organizer shut/tight when folded in half.The pockets are natural-colored canvas piped in mocha-colored canvas. The backing is a medium-blue nylon. I do have to wonder why the backing is not color-coordinated with the canvas. Perhaps the manufacturer had surplus blue nylon.There are four grommeted holes across the top for hanging and it comes with two different metal hanger types to use depending on which way you want to hang it. Four hangers for over-the-door, one for each grommet. For hanging on the closet rail, it come with one closet rail hanger that has two hooks on the bottom, each to catch two of the grommets (The four grommets marry up into two touching pairs when the organizer is folded in half.).I'm going with the closet rail approach. It was just a wee bit too wide for the back of my door. You'll want to measure and compare to the specifications before you buy if you are going to use it over-the-door. On the closet rail, it is a wee bit too long, just barely brushing the top of the carpet. The manufacturer ought trim an inch or so off its overall length somehow.When I folded it in half the grommeted holes did not line up very well and I had to sort of force the hanger hardware into the grommets. There is a slight buckle (just along the top edge of it) because of that. Doesn't seem like punching the holes accurately would be a huge problem for the factory to get right. Perhaps the manufacturer had surplus blue nylon ... already punched and grommeted.YOU WILL most likely care about whether it holds shoes well.Read more ›

Perfect, but ONLY for under the bed sheet storage

This item is a great thing to have to keep your spare sheets under the bed. It is the perfect size for about 3-4 sets of sheets for a king size bed. It would hold much more for a small bed. The only thing to know before hand is that this is not a sturdy storage container, and the cedar inserts are pretty much 3 strips of cardboard, so do not think this is something you will be able to easily transport. It's possible it would be O.K. for storing some light summer clothes, but again- it is not sturdy. I love mine for it's purpose, there is no need to waste closet or shelf space with bulky sheets when they are clean and sealed under the bed!

This is not exactly what I expected. This "Box" has cardboard like inserts sew into the sides... but the bottom is fabric. So you put your clothing or whatever in it and if you pick it up it just sags... I thought it would be more like the fabric cubicles that I bought from target. They have an insert that goes in the bottom to keep the sides up and keep the bottom from sagging like a sack. I put my own piece of cardboard in the bottom so problem solved. This is for indoor storage of course. It's big, and has lots of room. Looks better than an XL ziplock bag but doesn't hold as much... and costs more. Overall I wish I had passed on this one.

Huge but zipper pull damaged

This tote is 27.5 in x 16.5 in x 15 in. per package. Dimensions were not shown when I ordered, only that it's 30 gallon. The plastic is a little thinner than I expected but still seems sturdy. It doesn't have any structure to it so it can be flattened to store when not in use. I like that the handles are reinforced so I hope it lasts. I'm using it to store guest blankets in spare bedroom and it has plenty of space. I would have given it 4 stars for the large size, nice handles but slightly thinner plastic except that the zipper pull on the front zipper is damaged with a sharp metal piece sticking out making it very uncomfortable to use. I'd return it but it doesn't seem worth it to pay return shipping relative to the cost of the tote.

These bins come in a 2 pack. They are not the same size but this is a good thing. They match perfectly with the configurations kit and accessories. Highley recomended for the storage of socks and undergarmets for the smaller one, and the bigger one is perfect for holding your favorite summer tanks or tee's, pajamas, or anything else you like. They are sturdy, and best of all, compleatly flexible. They will arive completly flat, don't worry. Just open the package and they fold right to life and you can fold them back down whenever you like.

This is a replacement for the silverware basket. Our old silverware basket had holes in the bottom that allowed stuff to slip through. This is an exact duplicate for the existing Kenmore basket. It fits perfectly and is exactly what we needed.

I am very pleased with the silverware basket. It fits well in my dishwasher and arrived quite promptly. The old one had completely lost the bottom in several of the compartments and it was getting difficult to get the silverware washed in the only three compartments I had left intact. True Hayward Basket Replacement

If you are unsure of the size of the basket you need to replace, look on the underside of your skimmer cover/lid - the model number is imprinted there. While one person gave the basket a bad review for not being more sturdy, our original Hayward skimmer baskets lasted nearly 10 years.

It's plastic. It breaks. The handle pulls off. The basket splits. Can someone please make one of these out of stainless? Something that withstand chlorine and the rigors of regular pool maintainence.

I purchased two of these to replace my cracked and broken ones in my pool. Chlorine does a number on plastic. They were exactly what i expected and work fantastic. Very pleased!

I bought my home with a pool about three years ago. I love the pool, but the skimmer basket was cracked (it was the original from when it was installed in the early '90s). I bought this to prevent any large items from being pulled through the crack and into my new pump. It's a perfect fit replacement for the original basket and has a good solid feel. My only worry is the handle. It doesn't feel as sturdy as I would expect and I'll change my review if it becomes an issue.

These pool parts deteriorate over time and it was easy to order a replacement via Amazon. AND the part number was right on the bottom of the basket.

Skimmer fits exactly into the pool but its handle is deep inside the basket and this forces you to put your hand into the skimmer to pull it out which means that you have your hand in all the gunk ie bugs etc. IT needs a modification to make it so the person pulling the skimmer out will not have to put thier hand into the muck.

Be aware! This is not made by Hayward, it is not the original basket, although it seems to fit. It is a different plastic (grey), has a metal handle, not plastic (will it rust? We'll see), and an odd spinning disc on the bottom for who knows what reason. It does NOT look like the picture. If it had been sold by amazon I would be returning it, but it is too much hassle with another vendor.
