Tiny & cute but not compatible for all bikesGracefulGhost
Although this is a nice looking, sturdy basket, the velcro is not long enough for any bicycles with adjustable speed and brake cables running around the front and to the back of the bike. This basket is strictly for single-speed bicycles that have regular sized handlebars to accomodate the short velcro straps.

I read all the reviews before I placed the order. It was cute small basket just as other people mentioned. The dimension ( I measured the interior of the basket.) is Width: 10 inch ( the widest part )/ Depth: 7 inch/ Hight: 6 inch. It is big enough to put 6 oranges, size wise.. I like my basket. The little problems are, 1) the velcro is little bit short for my handles. 2) The basket ( velcro ) comes off from handle when I go over the bump on the street. 3) When I put a small water melon , about 4 Lbs weight, the velcro came down from the handle. This is not for heavy shopping anyway. Still, I am happy because of the look, and it goes with my little folding bicycle look anyway. Since I live in Down Town LA, when I lock my bicycle at a market parking, I always take the basket with me. It is very easy to remove the basket from my bicycle. The price was very good deal as well. I am happy about my purchase.

The basket is well made, looks pretty, and fits my bike perfectly. Size is a little small. If you want to go to farmer's market, this would be too small to hold any produces. I had read the review before I bought it, so it is expected. However it would be nice if they put measurement numbers in the description.
Perfect for a Child's Bicyclegoonius
We bought this basket to attach to a retro-looking 14" Diamondback Della Cruz bicycle for our four year old daughter. When the basket arrived, I initially thought it would be too big for her bicycle. But it turned out to be the perfect size. It is bigger - wider and deeper - than most children's plastic bicycle baskets. This has turned out to be quite a good thing. When my girls go bike riding, my daughter is always pleased to be able to carry the larger stuffed animals or her lunch sack or a huge pile out outdoor treasures (rocks!leaves!magnolia cones!).It's held up really well. I'm ashamed to say we've left the bike out in the rain a few too many times, but the basket - despite a slight change in color - is sturdy as ever!I'm not convinced this would be the ultimate basket for an adult's bike, but that all depends on what you're wanting to tote along. You could carry a small purse in here, or maybe a few (2-4) library books, or a small Sigg bottle and a paper lunch sack. But it's definitely not good for a trip to the grocery store or anything.For our purposes, however, it was absolutely ideal. It's also easy to attach which is nice. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller basket for an old-fashioned single-speed bicycle.Country of Origin: China

Before buying i wanted to check out the reviews and most consisted of its too small or it can only fit one speed bikes. I placed the order anyway and took a chance. It's actually not that small i can fit a towel and all my swimming stuff for when i ride down to my pool. It fits on my 5-speed mountain bike. I just had to maneuver the straps through my brakes. its durable and hardly moves when I'm riding. I live in a neighborhood with literally no cracks in the sidewalk so that might be a factor. it looks great and i would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a bike basket for a low price(:
Good Buy for the Moneyzelmo
I bought this for my college-bound daughter's new bike. When I showed her the online picture, she thought it would be too small, but upon arrival, she was pleasantly surprised to find it large enough to hold many more things than she expected. It's a great size for her bike, and since she wanted an old fashioned look to go with her retro bike, this was perfect. She really likes the quick-release velcro and handle in case she wants to lug it with her shopping or to class. I can't speak to the durability of it yet, she's only had a month, but at $9.99, I can buy another one or two and not break the bank. Overall, I give it a B+ to A-

I bought this basket on a Friday and I had it by Monday. I love this basket, it is not big, but I like it because it fits my water, garage door opener, cell phone, wallet or whatever I might need for my ride. Love it!

My daughter was so excited for this to hang it off of her new bike. The straps broke when we put it on and we have not been able to use it.
