The dimensions listed "Product Dimensions: 14.8 x 4.8 x 12.4 inches" are not valid and the description does NOT indicate the smaller tapered bottom or provide its dimensions.The actual measurements are: 12.09375" wide at TOP x 11.5" wide BOTTOM x 5.1875" high x 12.53125" deep. The height of the usable area once installed on the shelf is 3.75".I purchased this item to store my handled paper grocery bags. Based upon the listed dimensions, this would have been a perfect fit.

The under shelf basket wrap rack works really well for my foil and plastic wrap and organizes my pantry some. It fits perfectly and so do the foil and plastic wraps. I can fit 4 boxes across.

It works as designed, making my shelves more orderly and clean, with a better utilization of space. My standard size rolls of plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and wax paper fit nicely in the bin. I have some longer rolls of parchment paper that don't fit, nor do my cooling racks, they are too long. Also, my larger count sandwich bag (100 count) box barely fits in the bin height-wise.

As far as the product itself goes, it's a nice basket. Quality was fine. But I was disappointed to find I could not use it in my cabinets. I had wanted to use it in the cabinet by my stove where I keep my spices. It is too long. A standard cabinet shelf is 12" and the basket is longer. I gave it a 5 because it is partly my fault I suppose for not paying enough attention to the dimensions. I kept it and am using it in my pantry. It works perfect for boxes of tea.

Neater closet - Foil - wraps - bags all in view - easier to use for the male in the household who can't seem to see anything unless it's biting them on the nose.

Biggest advice to buyers of this product, or any like it, is check your shelf measurements UNDER THE SHELF first. Account for any support molding under the shelves. In my Case I measured the top of the Pantry shelf for depth, and did not account for the 1 inch molding underneath that keeps the self in place. I am now using it in my medicine cabinet, which is deeper.
