I have been looking for baskets with lids that could be used on the lower shelf of an entryway table. The only ones I found that were even remotely nice looking were at Crate and Barrel and were $60 each.I found these on Amazon and I really liked the look of them and the price was incredible. I purchased two of them, they arrived well before they were promised and they look great.They are not super sturdy, so I wouldn't suggest letting little kids play with them, but they are well made....just a bit delicate. The color is nice and rich, the fabric lining is good quality and they are a nice shape.If you are looking for storage that can sit out and not look cheap, these would be perfect. I'm using them for additional storage of smaller items such as napkin rings, napkins, votive candles, etc.I'm considering buying a third one.VERY happy with this purchase. It is exactly what I have been looking for!

I bought this basket to hide some of my sons toys that he plays with on a daily basis in the living room. It isn't very deep, but it hides the things that I bought it for. It looks nice in the living room too. It isn't made to take a beating though. It's a little on the fragile side, but it's nice and masks the toys that I don't want laying around when people come to visit. :)

Using aboard our boat. For those asking, measurements are: 7.5" H, 15.75 W, 10 5/8 " depth at maximum point front, depth narrowest point front 9.5 "on each side. Hopes this helps others in ordering. There is a slight curve in the front but does not affect storage capacity that we have found. We store all kinds of things. Paper goods, food wraps - aluminum foil. etc. They are elegant, sturdy enough for every day use, and the cost is very reasonable if you compare price and quality. We are ordering more. The liner can be taken out for cleaning. I hand wash with a little clorox and dry and place back in container. We have had our original baskets for over a year with heavy use. They look fresh and clean. Very pleased with this product.

I have two stacked on my kitchen counter. I store potatoes and onions in the lower one, and bread and rolls in the top one. It is perfect for potato and onion storage because it keeps the light out, yet is still breathable. I love that the liner is removable and washable, and it also looks great in my kitchen.

My bathroom is a total disaster--I have beauty products EVERYWHERE but this basket is functional and will help keep all of the misc. clutter away while looking nice and neat. Doesn't really matter what kind of decoration you have going on, I think this will work with just about anything. I love mine and it looks great in my bathroom! I even bought another one in black to keep my shoes in because I can remove the canvas liner and wash it.

I was tired of looking at my cable internet modem and router sitting on the floor in my living room and so I decided to try and hide them in something. This basket is up to the task. Fits the router and modem perfectly inside with room to spare and fished the wires in and now I don't have to look at that unsightly router and modem. I couldn't be happier! It also complements the other furniture in my living room.
