we started using a co-op for our produce and didn't have much room to put it all! (the baskets were overflowing!) so we ordered this and it fits a lot! we had about 10 small blood oranges and apples. We even fit a few bananas, grapefruit, onions - we even have a small pineapple in the middle tier. works great.

Great price and basket is sturdy and nice. I have 5 pounds of grapefruit and about 3 pounds of apples with a few pounds of random stuff too. Holds solid and keeps cluttered fruits from being all over my table and counter

I bought two of these for my kitchen to hang produce and they work just as expected. The bottom basket can hold 5 pounds of potatoes!

My kitchen is smaller than I would like it to be, and storage space is at a premium. I wanted one of these to store things like lemons and onions in, and chose this one based on the reviews.It's well-made and holds quite a bit of weight; I've got at least six pounds of produce in there right now, and it's holding up just fine. My only problem was setting it up - the chains which join the baskets together are attached with little hooks, and I had to fiddle with them quite a bit to get the baskets to hang straight. Apart from that, good purchase - I'd recommend it.

Yes, it isn't very well designed. The chains are difficult to keep from coming apart while you hang it up. Once it is in place it works okay. What ever you do don't knock it!

I absolutely love this! I received it in November 2013. It came very quickly. I hung it up about two weeks ago. I have constantly kept fruit in it. Just now I piled over 12 lbs of apples, pears, oranges and bananas in the baskets. It is holding and has been holding just fine with this much weight since we hung it up. I had my husband hang it from a stud in our kitchen ceiling so it wont come crashing down. I have not had any issues with the chain falling apart as some others have stated. I am very happy with my purchase. (I was going to post a picture of how full my baskets are.)

...the chains were incredibly difficult to untangle so that the basket would hang evenly... definitely use an anchored hook or it will fall right out & give you a mild heart attack lol

I really wanted a hanging basked for my fruit, i read the reviews and thought this one would be perfect unfortunately it broke the day i got it. I had only added a few pieces of fruit when it broke. I was disappointed.
