Beware California proposition 65 warning (toxic chemicals) on productcustomer12345
When this product arrived, it had a note in the package which exactly said "The products in the package may contain chemicals known to the state of Caifornia to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproduction harm". They have not mentioned what material is that they are talking about; they do not mention this warning anywhere in the product information page and that was why I did not know about this warning until the product arrived. I was planning to keep all the fruits I buy for my baby. I shipped it back. We have to pay for the the return shipment and it was almost the same price as the product.

This fruit basket looks like the picture, but when I received it I realized that it is a lot smaller than I was expecting, and you really can't put much fruit or anything else in it.

I was apprehensive when I bought this because several people said it was too small. But since I didn't want to spend fifty dollars on the next size up, I went ahead and ordered this one.I am SO glad that I did! It is the perfect size for my tiny kitchen. I normally only have three or four potatoes, a few apples, a couple of onions and a few heads of garlic, and this holds everything PERFECTLY! It is about 18" tall, and the base is about 11" across.You won't be able to fit entire bags of fruit and vegetables into this, but if you only buy produce for a few days at a time, this is the best way to keep it all up off your counter tops. I highly recommend it!
Holds more than you think!my 2 cents
I ordered two of these. One for fruits,the other for veggies. When they arrived, I was concerned they were too small. But as I began adding the fruit/veg to them I was pleasantly surprised to see how much they actually hold! We had these items in baskets across a side counter but thanks to these, we have significantly more counter space and the area looks tidy! I shopped all our local stores trying to find something like this and didn't come close. AND you can't beat the price (this was before Amazon jacked-up their 'Super Saver Shipping' and you only needed to spend $25 for free-shipping!)!!! That's why we got two! One for fruits and one for veg!I've read a few reviews where people felt this is 'too small'. Just to give you an idea of how much they can hold...we have 3 medium potatoes, 3 medium yellow and 1 large onion, a package of grape tomatoes, 5 Roma tomatoes, 3 beef-steak tomatoes plus 3 large bulbs of garlic in one, that's 18 Veggies PLUS a package of maters! In the other, a Costco bag of large lemons (14 left), 4 medium apples and 3 oranges! That's 21 pieces of Fruit! In BOTH I could still add significantly more items with ease. So, I guess it all depends on how much fresh produce you keep on hand and one's perception of small. As non-meat eaters we consume LOTS of produce and these fit the bill perfectly for US since we market about 2-3 times a week. Hope this is helpful!PS: Saw a review that the package include a Prop 65 warning. My package did not include this. Hopefully, they made changes (imported from...you guessed it! China!). As another reviewer stated, this is everywhere...even on fabrics!!!!!
Anxious and disappointedMel
Loved the style of the baskets. Needed it for our fruit and vegetables which is what it was for, unfortunately anything larger than a lemon just does and did not fit in the top two baskets.

When you get the basket out of the box it seems small. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, I fit a whole bag of red potatoes, four onions, and 4 bananas in this basket (comfortably). It holds much more than you think it would!

It looks cute on my kitchen counter :) it's actually bigger then I was expecting all the reviews said it was so small so I was expecting so small. it wasn't so small it's fine size, and I buy quite a bit of produce. I give it 4 stars because it's the slightest bit tilted you can't really tell but it leans just a little bit. very cute though. it took forever to ship though, like 3 weeks before I received it

Came in good time and was in prefect condition no chips or bends you have to put it together but it only takes a few seconds it holds about 5lbs of potatoes and 3 tomatoes I use the top of it to put bananas in. I lined mine with rubber grip stuff so the tomatoes wont bruise.
