This review is for Whitmor 6500-1715 Rattique Storage Tote, JavaI bought these wonderful rattan look-alike resin (woven plastic) baskets from a discount store that rhymes with partials for $14.00 + 7% tax = $16.04 each.They come in many splendid colors, e.g. brown, black, fuchsia, lime green, ivory, purple, and white, etc. I purchased 5 for my kitchen pantry (Java), 1-3 piece set for my master bath (Java), and 2 for my guest bathroom (espresso).You can purchase them in individual sizes or in the three piece set which has three different sizes: large, medium, and small.I used them to create additional storage space in my kitchen pantry to make use of the empty floor space below the shelves. I house and categorize extra kitchen cloths, oversized vitamin containers, pet food and snack bags, awkward boxes and packages, e.g., foils, zip lock baggies, trash bags, rice packages, bean packages, and seasoning packages, etc.They simply slide out without scratching the tile, keep products organized, and I have easy access to my products.Java is a chocolate brown and espresso is a dark chocolate brown. The largest (espresso) basket measures 13" x 15" x 9.8", and the medium (java) basket measures 12.2" x 13" x 10". Each basket has wide sturdy silver metal handles that allow for easy pick up or sliding.I bought additional baskets to house bath products because my old cabinets were ruined by bath products even though I had them tightly capped. Cabinet liners just get too messy, and they are time consuming--measuring and cutting.These wonderful baskets just rinse and whip clean because they are made of a woven plastic, and they are made in China. I received the baskets today. Super fast service & I really like the look, color (Java) & feel of the baskets. Wish I would have read through the reviews more carefully before purchasing however, as I now see that others have mentioned the problem with the lack of a complete description. I was expecting them all to be 11.4" x 14.6" x 6.5" as listed in the description. NOT SO... these are nesting baskets with only one being the size listed. The others are 9.8" x 13" x 6" & 8.3" x 11.4" x 5.5". These are nice baskets & I have ordered more, as I really needed more of the larger size. I took off a star because I was really disappointed that they were not the size expected. The company really should update their description to read more accurately. I am adding my review, simply to let others know what the basket sizes really are.

These baskets are sturdy and look great. The brown color is a bit more vibrant than pictured here, which was a nice surprise. I am using them in my bathroom to hold toiletries under the sink and on the counter. Great purchase!

Item: A set of three baskets, in three different sizes, made from woven plastic.Color: 'Java' is an attractive dark brown color. Although I don't own any other color, it appears there is a deeper brown (Espresso) choice from this company.Sizes: Here's the thing to know about these baskets - they're slightly tapered toward the bottom. The measurements listed for the baskets are for the top of the baskets. This is useful when determining if the baskets will fit into a particular area in your home. However, it doesn't help when calculating if something will fit nicely INSIDE the basket.Large: 11.4”L x 14.6”W x 6.5”H. I use this basket to hold loose papers and it works well. An large envelope sized 9.5" X 12.5" will fit exactly flat on the bottom of this basket. Papers that come home from the kids schools also get tossed in here with no problem.Medium: 9.8”L x 13”W x 6”H. A standard sized piece of printer paper (8.5" X 11") will NOT fit flat at the bottom of this basket. Lengthwise (11"), the paper will fit. The width (8.5") of the paper is about half an inch too long.Small: 8.3”L x 11.4”W x 5.5”H. A piece of paper folded to 6" x 9.5" will fit flat on the bottom of this basket.Durability: I lift and pull these baskets with various weighted items inside and they hold up well. The weave is strong and I haven't noticed any sharp ends on any of the baskets.Overall: I heart this set of baskets! I ordered three sets and came back to Amazon and ordered two more. Seriously, this is a no-brainer. These baskets look great either tucked on a shelf or sitting out in the open. Toss a bunch of loose items in one of these and BOOM instant organization.Read more ›

great sizes color and material. In between me and my boyfriend, we have soo many winter hats and gloves, that each one of us now have our own basket and we are using the small one for gloves. Our closet looks very nicely organized. totally recommended!!

There are really nice storage baskets. I use them to hold my acupuncture supplies. I love how they look nice and can be washed when they get dusty. I just wish they came in more colors!
