I ordered these to match my new espresso bookshelf. When these came in the mail the box said WALNUT finish, so I knew they weren't going to work. The description specifically says espresso finish. When I contacted the seller to do a return/exchange they told me it was my responsibility to pay a ten dollar fee for the return, and I would have to reorder, they won't allow exchanges. I waited three weeks to get these and ended up receiving the wrong item, and they were bent! Now, I'm stuck with three baskets that don't even match the color scheme of my house! Terrible product. Terrible Service.

Ordered these baskets to fit on a shelf unit I have.They are the perfect size and color I was looking for, however....1. They SMELL!!! Upon removing them from their shipping box, I was overcome by a horrible odor. Whatever stain or varnish they used on them reeks! I received them two days ago and I have been airing them out outside on my deck since then and they still smell. I am hoping the odor goes away within the next couple days so I can start using them.2. The wire frame around the outer edges of each basket is a little bit warped on each one. They aren't sitting quite flat. I am hoping that I will be able to twist them into shape once I bring them inside.Overall, I love the look of them and they shipped super fast. But the smell and the less-than-perfect quality prevent me from giving them 5 stars.

These baskets are a lot lighter in color than I expected. They will serve the purpose but wishing I would have gotten something more like what is pictured here.

We pull out the baskets multiple times a day. We have one for each family member. After six months of usage, I am happy to report they are sturdy and have held up well.

These are smaller than I thought they would be. They do smell, as someone else noted. Also, they are rather rough-hewn, with many unstained strands on all sides. I figure if I stain them in dark Mahogany and laquer them in a satin finish, it will add strength and spruce up the appearance. I don't think I could go wrong by doing so. It's worth a try. They look nice on my shelves and hold a lot of stuff. I just wish they were bigger and more substantial. Magazines won't fit in these flat; you have to stand them up like you would in a magazine box. I hope the handles hold up. They don't feel very strong.

These baskets are almost too prickly to handle with bare hands. I will need to cover them with fabric so I can handle them. Certainly not the quality I expected for this price. Debating with hubby on returning them. Very disappointing!

These are very nice quality. I would say they are very sturdy compared to most other storage baskets out there. They look classy and are the perfect size for storing lots of items in sight without making a room look cluttered.
